John James Wilson was born ca. 1839 in Richmond Canada to Thomas Wilson (1800-1866) and Mary Neville Wilson. John James Wilson probably bought the farm in Macedon, New York in 1865, moving his parents and his sister, Ann Jane Wilson, there that year from their home on Mud Lake near the Sharpton Post Office, Ontario, Canada. See James's journal for 1858-1869.
